Nottingham Forest veteran Remo Freuler's time at the club is at its conclusion.
The 31-year-old left the club for Bologna in Italy in the summer after less than a year with Forest.
He signed on loan, but there was a suggestion at the time that it could be made permanent.
Now TuttoMercatoWeb states the deal is all but done for Freuler to sign for Bologna permanently.
An obligation to buy has kicked in and Forest are set to receive a transfer fee.
The Premier League side will net £3.4 million for the sale of the Switzerland international.
