Blackburn Rovers icon Tony Parkes has returned to the club.
The Lancashire Telegraph says Parkes has returned to Blackburn Rovers as a part-time scout after six years away.
Parkes spent an incredible 34 years at Ewood Park as a player then a coach, acting as caretaker manager on a number of occasions.
"I will be scouting part time, helping to make decisions on players to be brought in," said Parkes. "I'm really pleased to be back.
"My hunger is back and there's no better club than Blackburn to be involved with.
"Martin Glover phoned me and said he and Sam would like me to get back involved if I was interested, so I went down to Brockhall to see Martin.
"It is only part time at the moment and we'll see what develops from there.
"My first game is Wigan v Blackpool, ironically, so I'll be looking at a couple of players there."
