Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce was thrilled with the performance of midfielder Brett Emerton in the 2-1 win at Blackpool on Saturday.
The Australian international hit an injury-time winner for the Lancashire club, his first league goal since October 2008, and Allardyce hopes it may be the moment where his form turns around.
"It has taken him a while to come back and get in the swing of it since the World Cup," Allardyce told the club's official website. "But he's looking a lot sharper and a lot better I'm glad to say.
"And he's capped that off with a fantastic finish to win the game for us."
