Former England coach Sam Allardyce is ready to jump back into management.
The Mirror says Allardyce is among the favourites to be the next Crystal Palace manager, should Alan Pardew go, and the former Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle, West Ham and Sunderland boss has told friends that he would consider any offer as he looks to get back into football.
Allardyce has been out of work since his departure from England in September, after taking charge of just one game as the manager of the national team.
Former Palace defender Chris Coleman is another name in the frame, but Pardew remains defiant over his future and is set to still be in charge as the Eagles face Southampton at home on Saturday.
