Besiktas are chasing Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.
The Daily Mail says Besiktas have switched their attention to Tottenham striker Defoe after reaching an impasse in their pursuit of his team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Turks, managed by former West Ham man Slaven Bilic, are ready to rival QPR for the 29-year-old England international and are willing to pay a salary of around £3m a year.
