Benitez says Everton medical room clearing

Everton boss Rafa Benitez says their medical room is clearing.

Benitez has confirmed Everton do not have any new injury issues as they prepare to face Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening.

The manager said: "We didn't have issues after the game (against Aston Villa). Normally the players who were playing could be available, more or less tired but available.

"The problems we had are the problems we still have. James was injured and is not available. Gbamin was injured and is not available, so we have more or less the same squad.

"It is a difficult decision for different positions. You can replace players in some positions and it is fine.

"In some of them we are short of some people and it is a big risk if you lose one of these players you cannot replace. But at the same time you have to put a strong team on the pitch to compete and win.

"You don't have the time to recover properly and you have an important game coming soon (against Norwich).

"But in the meantime you have to be sure you make the right decisions."
