Benfica are eyeing Crystal Palace youngster Brandon Aveiro.

The Sun says Aveiro is being watched by Benfica after his call-up to Portugal Under-18s.

The 17-year-old striker has been at a training camp this month and has sparked interest in luring him from the Premier League for regular football.

Primeira Liga clubs were allowed to watch the sessions and Aveiro has impressed Benfica and Braga.

Bundesliga scouts have also tracked the teenager, who signed his first professional deal at Selhurst Park at the start of the season.

He has played for Palace's Under-23s this season after starting at the club as an eight-year-old.
