Bayern Munich have jumped into the battle for Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz.

Arsenal are in talks with Chelsea over a fee for the Germany international - with the player approving the talks.

However, the Daily Mail says Bayern have jumped into the battle for Havertz.

Chelsea are willing to extend Havertz's contract, though will insist he sign on reduce terms. The midfielder's current deal runs to 2025.

Chelsea are prepared to sell - but will push to rake in close to the £75m they paid Bayer Leverkusen three years ago for Havertz.
