Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has dismissed talk of losing David Alaba to Manchester City.

The Austria wing-back has been linked with City in a swap deal for Leroy Sane.

But Rummenigge says: "I have heard rumours that we would like to give David Alaba to Manchester City in exchange for Leroy Sané.

"Let me make it clear: It is an adventure and has nothing to do with reality."

Alaba, 27, has stated this week he may be ready for a fresh challenge.
