Barcelona worried about (rising) Lewandowski contract; seeks Saudi escape

Barcelona are prepared to sell Robert Lewandowski in January.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito.

Inda stated: "Lewandowski has a problem: he is a very expensive player.

"He earns 10 million (euros) net last year, this season he earns 13, next year he rises to 16 and the fourth year of contract falls to 13. You have to multiply it by two and in Barça they see that as an unaffordable cost.

"It is climbing, but the last one goes down. He has this year and two more. One of the ways that Barça would have to withdraw money for a player who cost 50 million would be the Saudi route, which is a panacea for players and clubs.

"He would earn more than I earn here. Barça still owes 2,700 million euros..."
