Spain U16 skipper Jorge Alastuey is a target for Manchester City.

The Sun says City boss Pep Guardiola wants to sign the midfield dynamo at the end of the season when his deal expires at Barcelona.

Alastuey, 15, has become Guardiola's top target after hitting snags with a move for powerful Ilaix Moriba.

The Catalan giants are offering Moriba massive sums to stay despite City and latterly Chelsea trying to whisk him away.

So Guardiola has now put his efforts into the next starlet on the La Masia production line.
