Atletico Madrid legend Paulo Futre insists they're capable of winning the LaLiga next season.

Futre was speaking after the launch of the new season's fixture list.

He said, “I hope that Atlético has a great season, that it begins as it ended last year with the winning dynamic.

"It failed at the start, until the World Cup. Then they did an excellent second lap. But if we start off well, why not win and dream?

"Let's dream. They have to win all the games until Real Madrid, in September."

Futre also said of Joao Felix's situation: "Well, it is very difficult to answer if Joao Félix is going to stay or not. I love him and I love Cholo and let it be what God wants. But I also love how he plays it. It is clear, it is João Félix, he is a different player. When he's good, he can win a game by himself.

“I always thought that the relationship between Cholo and Joao was that of father and son. Let's see if, removing the last one, that the punishment has taken a long time, how many fights did the two have? Many, and until the last one they solved the issue."
