Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone insists Barcelona's crisis isn't a concern for him.

Ahead of facing Rayo Vallecano tomorrow, Simeone was asked about Xavi's resignation announcement.

He said: "I never give my opinion on the decisions of colleagues. I am respectful of what he has decided to say. We don't talk about what we do either. We try to make things clear with facts and thinking about the day to day."

Asked about Barca, Simeone stated: "I don't have time to think about so many things. We need to think about Rayo, about Sunday, about Wednesday against Athletic..."

On Koke's contract talks, he also said: "I have been commenting for several months and years that I do not enter into statements where they position you on one side or the other. I hope it goes in the best way, club and footballer do the best for everyone and for us, to continue in this line."

And on new signing Arthur Vermeeren, Simeone added: "He is training well. He has had a couple of training sessions to participate more with the group. he has desire, enthusiasm and we will see what we decide in the morning."
