Atletico Madrid have agreed to reduce the length of Diego Simeone's contract.
The Argentine's deal has been cut from 2020 to 2018 after discussions between the two parties. The agreement also involves a pay-rise.
AS says Atletico chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin agreed to the deal after Simeone had declared he wanted to leave after the Champions League final.
In an attempt to calm the situation, Gil Marin accepted Simeone's demands that his contract be reduced.
The Atletico coach had fielded interest from PSG and Inter Milan, but his deal's buyout clause frightened them off. Simeone can now leave for nothing in 2018.
