Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has suffered an injury setback.
In defeat at Real Madrid, the Frenchman was taken off at half time of that match as he was feeling discomfort. After a bad challenge from Dani Carvajal on the Frenchman's ankle, Griezmann then made a strange movement that caused a right thigh injury.
Tests this Tuesday confirmed that Griezmann has an injury and he is set to miss the matches against Sevilla and Granada on Saturday and Wednesday.
This is more bad news for an Atleti side that has been struggling domestically, with Diego Simeone now having to restructure his attack. Joao Felix can come in and his coach will hope the Portuguese can build on his bright showing in the second half of the derby.
There have been many injuries already for the Colchoneros this season, but Griezmann had been available for most of the campaign. His absence comes as quite a blow.
