Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was delighted with his players after their 8-2 victory over Salernitana.
Ademola Lookman struck twice and Jeremie Boga also produced a superb goalscoring performance on the day.
Gasperini said, "When you get a result like this, you also accept the goals conceded, we weren't so happy about the first goal because we didn't read a fairly simple play well. After, the team put in a great performance.
“When you get this type of result it's normal to look back, it's difficult to make comparisons: that was a more technical team, now we're faster. That team has done it many times, tonight we developed the game well, insisted and created quality goals. This gives us morale for the continuation of the championship."
On Boga, he said, "We know his qualities very well. If he manages to be concrete, yes, with his characteristics he will break the matches and become what we all expected."
And on Lookman, Gasperini also said: "Usually the strong ones don't take that long, I could also say Hojlund and Koopmeiners. He's already gained experience, he's not a beginner.
"He knows football, he was good at adapting to our way of playing in attack."
