Premier League giants Aston Villa have been sending scouts to watch Besiktas striker Semih Kilicsoy.

The 19-year-old has been hugely impressive in the Turkish league so far this season.

Villa did make four winter signings in Joe Gauci, Morgan Rodgers, Lino Sousa and Kosta Nedeljkovic.

They were not able to get Kilicsoy over the line, but Turkish outlets state their interest is very much alive.

The Midlands club will be hoping to secure the talent in the summer transfer window.

Kilicsoy made his senior debut for Besiktas in February of last year, but has already become a regular.

He has scored eight goals in 19 games for the club so far this season.
