Charles N'Zogbia's Aston Villa career appears to be over.

Reports from the Daily Mirror suggest that the French winger will not have his £63,000-a-week contract renewed by the West Midlands club before the end of the season.

29-year-old N'Zogbia is out of contract this summer and will be allowed to leave Villa Park on a free from July 1.

The former Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic has had an unhappy time at Villa recently, making just two appearances this season, and having played on only 93 occasions since arriving in 2011, is set to depart after an underwhelming spell with the Villans.
