Aston Villa have outlined their transfer priority this summer.

Villa boss Steven Gerrard has already strengthened in central defence and midfield with the signings of Diego Carlos and Boubacar Kamara.

The Express & Star reports that Gerrard now wants a new left-back at Villa Park.

Lucas Digne arrived from Everton in January, but with Matt Targett joining Newcastle in a permanent move, Gerrard wants cover and competition.
