Aston Villa are launching a bid for Rapid Bucharest striker Albion Rrahmani.

iAMsport reports Benfica are also keen and willing to offer for €8m for the 23 year-old.

However, Villa are prepared to outbid Benfica by offering €11m for the striker.

Kosovo international Rrahmani has scored 14 goals in 16 games for Rapid this season.

Rapid sources insist they will sell the player to his choice of club, even if it means "losing €3m".
