Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is eager to continue his signing spree.
Sky Sports says Philippe Coutinho's loan move from Barcelona has been made permanent, while Villa have completed the free transfer signing of midfielder Boubacar Kamara. Gerrard has also bolstered his defensive options with the £26 million capture of Diego Carlos from Sevilla.
Despite being one of the most active teams in terms of incomings so far this summer, it is reported that Villa are still keen to add players in two positions to their squad.
Gerrard continues to eye signings in midfield and central defence, despite the arrival of Kamara and Carlos.
The report adds that Villa are to undergo a 'significant squad overhaul' over the transfer window meaning that players will also be leaving the club.
