Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is happy counting on Calum Chambers.

Chambers was encouraged to find a new club in January, but is now impressing for Villa as he steps up to cover for injuries.

Asked if he regrets not registering the defender for the Europa Conference League, Emery said: “No, because it was a clear decision and it was an honest conversation with him.

"When he decided to stay here, I told him, 'you are one more'.

"He knows when we decided and I told him that I wasn't including him in Europe because we had to change it for some players."
