Arsenal are being linked with a summer move for Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo.

The Gunners are looking to continue building their young squad under coach Mikel Arteta.

Per Italian journalist Ciro Venerato, Zaniolo is valued at Roma by coach Jose Mourinho.

However, he has a contract that runs out in 2024, and he wants a big raise to extend.

He wants €4 million (£3.5m) a year, while Roma are only ready to offer €3.5 million (£3.1m).

If he decides not to renew by the end of this season, Roma will be selling him for a cut price fee to avoid losing him on a free in a year's time.

Then Arsenal could come into the picture, as Zaniolo would fit within their budget.
