Arsenal's Ukraine captain Oleks Zinchenko insists there's a lot of positives to draw from their 0-0 stalemate against Italy.
The result sees Italy qualify for Euro2024, with Ukraine now facing a playoff.
Zinchenko told Sport.ua: "Despite not passing the group, the result is positive. We drew the match against the European champions. There were many positive moments, but there were also mistakes. The coaching staff will analyse them and we will become stronger."
The penalty appeal on Mykhaylo Mudryk?
"To be honest, I didn't watch the replay. This is the result, so I don't like to comment on the referee's decisions. In the locker room the boys said something, but for me it's already behind us.
"Of course we felt the support of the fans. Thanks to everyone who attended the match and supported us. Our fans are our twelfth man."
Potential playoff opponents?
"I haven't looked yet. If we played well against Italy, we can do it against other teams too."
