Arsenal icon Henry calm on NYRB future

Thierry Henry insists he is not thinking too far ahead in terms of his playing career with New York Red Bulls.

The 36-year old French striker is heading into the final 12 months of his Red Bulls contract but he has made it clear that he will only consider his next step after the 2014 campaign is done and dusted.

"I'm not thinking about it might or might not be my last year or whatever it is. It is a year that is coming. We want to perform as a team and try to make sure we can go further this year," Henry said.

"I'm not thinking about next year. I'm thinking about this year. That's what is on my mind right now. That's all."
