Arsenal boss Arteta: Man City have improved standards

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says Manchester City have lifted standards in the Premier League.

Arsenal meet City today in the Community Shield.

Arteta said, "We have full respect for City and last season's results.

"For me, they've raised the bar, along with Liverpool, over the last six years to a place the league has never been before. And they've done so in a context where the overall level of the league is much higher than in the last 20 years, that's for sure.

"So we know that to win the Premier League, you know you'll probably need around 96 points or 100 points."
