Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce praised his players for being aware of how to beat Liverpool.
The Eagles came from a goal behind to defeat the Reds 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday courtesy of a brace from Christian Benteke.
Allardyce told Sky Sports: "The key was tactically, the lads were aware of where Liverpool can be [beaten], one, counter-attacking which was the first goal, the way we broke down the right-hand side, and then on corners, the first, maybe the second phase.
"Good balls in, because they use a zonal system they don't really mark their men so if you get on the move between their zonal men you may get the chance.
"Of course I'm so pleased that the man who scored is the man in goalscoring form."
He added: "When we talk about possession, Liverpool will have had a huge amount of that.
"But when you're talking about chances at goal we'll be right up there with Liverpool. In the end we were more clinical."
