Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong is staying calm over fresh transfer chatter.

De Jong continues to be linked with Manchester City and Barcelona.

"You know these stories come in. It has been that way before, now it was just as extreme again, I try not to worry too much about it and focus on what I have to do," he told De Telegraaf.

He's also been compared with Johan Crujff.

"Nice to hear, of course, but I'm really far from Crujff's level, and I will never be, and I do not have any illusions about that."
