David Lopez has signed a new deal with Real Mallorca.

The homespun defender, 20, has extended his contract from 2027 to 2029.

The decision about a new deal was reached after his performance in the Copa against Burgos.

Mallorca coach Javier Aguirre said at the time: "David confirmed to me that he is a central guarantee, of the club, of the house.

"I asked the club to reach a good conclusion with the renewal, I would like him to stay.

"When I came I didn't like him at all, not even how I ran, he wore small clothes and now he has lost weight, he is more coordinated, and he wants learn. He is attentive to all the advice we give him, there are those who are not as receptive as him.

"He is going to be a professional."
