The agent of Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo is in talks with Tottenham today.

TMW says Spurs have agreed terms with Roma over a six-month loan with a permanent option worth €30m.

Agent Claudio Vigorelli will be on the phone to Spurs chief Fabio Paratici to finalise the terms. The one sticking point is the terms for the buying option, which could include the need for a top four finish.

Roma management are resigned to losing Zaniolo, with sporting director Tiago Pinto accusing him of putting himself ahead of the club's needs.

A move to London could happen in the next 24 hours.
