An agent working on Napoli's move for Orel Mangala insists the Nottingham Forest midfielder wants the transfer to happen.

English media sources have claimed Mangala is committed to seeing out the season with Forest.

But agent Enrico Sposato told Radio CRC: "A footballer like Mangala, as I see it, could do very well at Napoli, he really wants Italy. There is the possibility of finding a solution that is valid for everyone, at the moment we are in a stalemate position.

"Napoli's interest is real, but all the conditions must be there for the deal to go through.

"The boy appreciates Italy and Napoli and knows many footballers who play or have played in the Campania capital. I am thinking of Traoré, Ngonge and Dries Mertens among others. The boy appreciates the place both from a social and technical point of view, at the moment everything is still at a standstill, but the negotiation can be unblocked at any moment.

"Mangala is an all-rounder because he has quality and quantity. He spends a lot of effort both in the defensive and offensive phases, he is good at insertions and blocking. The player's will to arrive in Italy is all there."
