AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is considering selling his stake in Toulouse.

There are concerns about transgressing UEFA ownership laws with Toulouse in the Europa League this season and Milan in the Champions League.

Bloomberg says Cardinale's RedBird Capital is in the early stages of studying the feasibility of the operation.

RedBird, who did not want to comment on the matter, acquired 85% of Toulouse in 2020, making the French club the driving model for their management of sporting teams through big data and algorithms.

Cardinale has already resigned from Toulouse's board in the past year.
