AC Milan defender Diego Laxalt has been offered to Premier League clubs.

The Evening Chronicle says Newcastle will be offered the chance to buy Uruguay defender Laxalt.

The left-back was on Rafa Benitez' wanted list in January, but talks broke down due to Milan's asking price.

However, after failing to impress manager Gennaro Gattuso, Laxalt may be shown the door for a lower price this summer.

Laxalt is also being linked with a move within Serie A.
