AC Milan chief exec Giorgio Furlani insists the club wants to bring back Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede met with Milan owner Gerry Cardinale over the weekend to discuss a position within the management team.

However, yesterday he made an enigmatic post on social media, stating: "Tic, tac, tic, tac."

Furlani responded: "I don't know what it means. How did the date with Cardinale go? I always see Cardinale, the relationship is strong and he had a big smile. I won't tell you about Ibra. Nothing".

Asked if he'd be happy to work with him again, Furlani replied: "Of course, he's a champion, of course."

The latest suggestion is Ibrahimovic will be hired as a football advisor to American Cardinale.
