Belgium boss Marc Wilmots is expecting big things from Eden Hazard at this summer's European Championships.

The Chelsea playmaker endured a frustrating season in England which was riddled with niggling injuries and subpar form.

However, the gifted 25-year-old was in get touch late in the campaign and Wilmots believes he will be a vital player and important leader for the Rode Duivels in France at Euro2016.

"We are not a favourite, but an outsider. I expect of Eden that he will be decisive in France," Wimots told Sport Wereld.

"I'm not worried about Eden. He answers with his feet. He leads with his feet.

"What I expect from him? He is decisive, that he serves his quality to the team.

"Eden is still only 25. He's really looking forward to this European Championship, we need him even a little slow. But he remains a great football player."
