Girona coach Michel hoping to keep hold of attacking trio

Girona coach Michel hopes to keep his squad together over the summer.

Victory against Barcelona secured Champions League qualification for Girona on Saturday.

Two keys have been Ukrainians. Striker Artem Dovbyk, 26, who scored 20 goals in 35 games and winger Viktor Tsygankov, 26, who has six goals and four assists in 30 appearances.

Míchel is clear that he hopes to keep the duo this summer, despite interest from bigger clubs.

"I think they will stay. They have a contract," he told RAC1.

"And hopefully Sávio ..."

The Brazilian winger (who scored ten goals and nine assists in 37 games for Girona) is expected to move to Manchester City next season.

But there have also been rumours that there could be a new loan with the Spanish club.
