Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan is still floating over the manner of their victory against Newcastle United.
Spurs did Wigan a favour last night by thumping Bolton Wanderers.
"We have played so well at times this season and not managed to get the points on the board, but this time we created chances and took them - that was the difference," Whelan told the Wigan Observer.
"The quality of football we played was simply outstanding - and the four goals we scored were out of the top drawer.
"Victor Moses really stamped his authority on the game in that first 20 minutes - two brilliant goals which laid the platform.
"Franco di Santo also deserved his goal because he worked so hard throughout the game."
