Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has no fears his players will get carried away with last week's historic win over Chelsea.
Martinez told TalkSport: "The confidence is there but we are very realistic as well. We are very aware that there is no easy games in the Premiership and it's very, very different. You get games against the top four and games against the sides around you and playing away from home as well so we are firmly on the ground, we know exactly where we need to improve.
"There's many things we can still do better and that's what we are going to do. (We're) taking every performance as a step forward but trying to fulfil the potential which is huge.
"We had to assemble a squad of players with different nationalities, with different backgrounds but I can guarantee you that everyone is hungry for success and everyone is desperate to win games for Wigan Athletic and time will allow us to fulfil that potential and that's the excitement around the town."
