West Ham to hand Pellegrini bumper £75M transfer kitty

Manuel Pellegrini takes charge of West Ham with a healthy transfer budget waiting for him this summer.

The Mirror says Pellegrini will be given up to £75million to fulfill his promise of bringing attacking football to West Ham.

After making the Chilean their highest-paid manager ever, the former Manchester City boss will be handed the biggest transfer budget to transform the side.

A number of players are ­expected to leave this summer with – as revealed by Mirror Football – the emphasis on fresh legs and better quality.

West Ham have spent the last two dour seasons battling relegation, under Slaven Bilic and David Moyes.
