West Ham United are eyeing Fiorentina defender Facundo Roncaglia.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is facing a defensive injury crisis and is in the market for a new centre-half.

TMW says West Ham have made contact with Fiorentina for Argentine Roncaglia, who is also interesting Genoa.

The 27 year-old has been with Fiorentina since 2012 and also boasts an Argentina cap.

Standing at less than 6ft, Roncaglia also has experience in Spain with Espanyol.
