Tottenham extended their unbeaten streak to 14 Premier League matches courtesy of Saturday's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
Spurs, who have not lost since opening day, equalled their previous club record of 14 matches without defeat which was set in 1985 to remain fifth on the top flight table.
Dele Alli opened the scoring for the visitors with a lovely volley in the 15th minute when he latched onto Toby Alderweireld's precise long ball and hit it sweetly first time past a hapless Boaz Myhill from seven yards.
However, Tony Pulis' Albion side toiled hard at The Hawthorns and managed to find an equaliser six minutes before the break through James McClean.
The Republic of Ireland winger netted his first goal since February, and first for the Baggies, when he leapt above his marker to powerfully head home Darren Fletcher's cross from the right.
The result gave Spurs a record of six wins and eight draws from 15 matches while Albion dropped 13th despite picking up their 19th point of the season.

- Can Tottenham maintain this run and continue to put pressure on those teams above them?
- West Brom undefeated in three and proving hard to beat but they do need some wins on the board to remain well clear of the bottom three.
WHAT'S NEXT?

QUOTES CORNER
Tottenham's Pochettino on the result:
"I am more disappointed because we dropped two points. At the same time we are proud it is 14 games unbeaten. I feel very proud of the players, the effort was amazing but we feel a little bit disappointed because we dropped two points."
West Brom assistant coach Dave Kemp on his side's display:
"We came off disappointed we had not won. It was not part of the plan to go a goal down but we have to be pleased with the way we came back. We have that ability to take the game to good teams and to have the character and confidence to do that is very pleasing."
