West Brom skipper Brunt pleased with summer market work

West Bromwich Albion skipper Chris Brunt is delighted with their summer market business.

Brunt, 29, also believes he still has plenty to offer as he works his way back to full fitness ahead of next weekend's Premier League opener.

"We're starting to build up towards the Sunderland game and hopefully we'll have a full squad with everybody raring to go," he said. "The new lads have all settled in well.

"Joleon (Lescott) is well-known and he's a big character as well so it's good to have people like that around. Andre (Wisdom) is only a young lad but he's got good experience in a good Derby team last year.

"We've seen how well Liverpool have done so for him to be a Liverpool player means he's obviously doing something right.

"Hopefully with a couple more games in pre-season they will get more used to their surroundings and the lads around them and they will be good assets for us this season."
