West Brom's Odemwingie relaxed about Man City fixture

West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie insists the team is relaxed about heading to Manchester City tomorrow.

The Baggies won 3-0 over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday to move a comfortable 11 points clear of the drop zone and Odemwingie suggests that result has allowed the West Midlands club to head to the Etihad Stadium feeling good about themselves.

"I'm happy that now we can go to Man City more relaxed, because if we hadn't got the result on Saturday it would not have been easy travelling there, knowing how good they are," the Nigerian said.

"Hopefully that will help us perform against City.

"It's an opportunity for us to play against a top side and see where we're at.

"It will be an interesting game because we want to continue enjoying our season.

"To make our season even better it would be nice to get some points against one of the big teams."
