West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo insists Gonzalo Jara is capable of playing in the Premier League after the Chile international's first goal for the club helped Albion to a 2-1 win at promotion rivals Leicester. Asked if Jara could play at a higher level, Di Matteo said: "Absolutely. He will be going to the world cup with his nation next summer.
"I don't know what his best position is yet, maybe ask me at the end of the season.
"But his versatility is one of the reasons we signed him - to have a player that can play in a number of positions. He can play at centre-back, full-back or as a holding midfielder."
