Watford striker Luis Suarez eager to restart with Real Zaragoza

Watford striker Luis Suarez is desperate for the Spanish season to resume.

Suarez is desperate to return to football with Real Zaragoza, after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted what has been his best season so far.

The Colombian has 17 goals from 29 appearances in all competitions.

"We want to return to the field to touch the ball and feel like footballers because this is very complicated," he said.

"Not only in Spain but throughout the world. I'm trying to deal with it in the best way and with the best attitude and to not lose shape.

"The club are doing an impeccable job of trying to make us do things and stay active, so that when it is time to compete we are one hundred percent.

"For now, the situation that everyone is going through is complicated and we try to be united in distance as a team.

"I have no complaints from the city, the fans or the club. It is the best season that I am spending in my short career and I am very happy at Zaragoza."
