Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood insists he didn't reject former club Nottingham Forest as he prepares to join Wolves today.

Villa snubbed Forest's attempt to sign the striker last week and Harewood's agent Phil Sproson said: "Villa said no to Forest so Marlon spoke to Martin O'Neill, who has now decided to loan him out.

"It was only then that Wolves expressed an interest."
