Villarreal coach Quique Setien happy with Celta Vigo draw

Villarreal coach Quique Setien was happy after their 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo on Friday night.

Setien was left satisfied with the point.

He later said: “I value the point positively because RC Celta did well in some parts of the game to score more goals. During the second half we had to suffer a lot because they put a lot of pressure on us, but we knew how to suffer, which is also important in football and that's why I value the point positively.

“The match had two very different halves. In the first half we were good, although it's true that we could have done more damage. At times we also lacked the aggressiveness that we've had in other games to try to do some damage, but we also had to control Celta, who are a team that really commit you and have great players who can do a lot of damage.

“In the second half we suffered a lot, we weren't able to push forward as much as we would have liked because we were conditioned by our physical condition. We were able to dig in, which is important and get a point."

On goalscorer Gerard Moreno, Setien added: “He is an extraordinary and very versatile player who gives us a lot of things. I'm delighted with his goal, his performance was extraordinary."
