Juventus legend Gianluca Vialli has backed Walter Mazzarri's appointment at Inter Milan.

Mazzarri was named new Inter coach last week.

"Mazzarri is certainly the right man for Inter," Vialli told Tuttosport. "He was chosen to lead that team for a reason.

"He has charisma and quality, you saw that in Naples.

"The Inter board took that into consideration."
