Ruud van Nistelrooy is determined to stay part of Florentino Perez's Real Madrid.
Van Nistelrooy is currently recovering from knee surgery and is not expected to be fit for competitive action until September.
The Dutchman has been linked with Tottenham, but says: "I am happy at Real, I would like to go back and have the opportunity to prove myself after this bad injury."
