Udinese are on the brink of selling midfielder Emmanuel Badu to Stoke City.

Stoke have pursuing Badu since the end of last season and despite Udinese's relationship with Watford, are now close to wrapping up his signing.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Badu has already agreed personal terms with Stoke over a four-year deal.

The Potters are now finalising a fee with Udinese in the region of €6.5 million.

Badu has been with Udinese since 2010.
